    Where did you last travel?

    Paris and Croatia

    Highlights and/or must see locations:

Hard to think of a more beautiful place for a ride...

    Plitvice Lakes National Park

Croatia: I landed in Zagreb and spent a day exploring this small, pleasant city which has a wonderful central market and several interesting, small museums.  Next, I rode  out toward the coast to visit three national parks, including the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park- a UNESCO World Heritage Site - not to be missed! The majority of the trip involved cycling down the lovely Dalmatian coast, from Split down through three of the beautiful islands- Brac, Hvar and Korcula.

     Foundation Louis Vuitton, Paris

Paris: The building of the Louis Vuitton Foundation, started in 2006, is an art museum and cultural center sponsored by the group LVMH and its subsidiaries. It is run as a legally separate, nonprofit entity as part of LVMH's promotion of art and culture. The art museum opened in October 2014.

Tips and tricks for fellow travelers:

While in Dubrovnik, take a walk on the old wall in the late afternoon to catch the views at sunset, and to avoid the crowds.

Roll your pants before packing them to avoid creasing.

    Food/drink recommendations:

Croatia: The delicious seafood- centric cuisine and the local wines and olive oils were an added bonus to the spectacular scenery. I finished my tour in Dubrovnik, the “jewel of the Adriatic”.

Restaurant Les Enfants Rouges in Paris' 3rd arrondissement

Paris: Les Enfants Rouges in Paris receives amazing reviews and serves delicious market-fresh French cuisine.

Which Aviator products did you wear and were they helpful?

Summer Dark Indigo Jeans paired with the Aviator Air Dry Merino Wool Travel-T. The real solution to "packing light."

When not in my cycling shorts, my summer weight Aviator jeans and Air Dry merino t- shirts kept me comfortable and well turned out as I strolled, hiked, and hung out in cafes and restaurants in the evenings.
