Denim size and waist measurement don’t always match. The fit changes depending on how high or low the jeans sit. See size guide above for more details.
Just like other jeans, Aviator Jeans should fit tight when you first try them on. They will stretch and adapt as you wear them.
About the fit: Gentle hug on the hips with a slightly more relaxed feel at the thigh. Straight from the knee to the ankle.
You can find the best fit by taking three simple measurements of your favorite fitting jeans at home. Click here to see our Measuring Guide.
We're happy to hem your jeans to a custom length before shipping your order. Please know that once we've done so, all sales are final and we cannot accept them back for return or exchange. If this is your first time ordering with us, we’d recommend having your jeans hemmed locally to ensure that they're the perfect length for you. If you email us a copy of your receipt from the tailor shop, we'd be happy to reimburse you up to $10 for the alteration.
If you'd like us to hem your jeans, simply scroll up and check the box below the "Add to Cart" button on this page. Then select your desired inseam from the dropdown. Your hemming request will be automatically added to your cart along with your jeans. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're always happy to help!

"It's like they were custom made for me. They have just enough stretch for long travel days, and light enough that they'll be easy to wash and dry during long trips. They fit perfectly. No pinching. I tried them on and ordered two more colors."

"After purchasing 1 pair, have purchased 3 more. And the beauty is that they are made in America."

I had my first Aviator jeans 5 years ago and decided to renew after it was becoming too used. Still the same great quality and my go-to brand for jeans, even though I live in Europe. Highly recommend it, very comfortable, high quality, and no bag needed, gotta keep our stuff in the pockets like guys thanks to Aviator!
These lightweight black jeans are very comfortable and easy to wear.
Love these pants. I also ordered the "Best Travel Jeans" but it is super high waisted and not flattering. These lower rise 9 inch jeans are perfect. Unfortunately, they are only available in black. I would buy in every color is they offered it in 9 inch rise! So comfortable!!!
These aviator jeans both look great and they are comfortable. They seem to be very well made and I look forward to enjoying them.
Best fitting (and comfortable) jeans I have owned. Superior quality in workmanship and materials. Due to lost luggage, which had all my hiking gear, my Fly Straight jeans were my only option for hiking the Inca Trail and they ‘rocked’!
