Originally designed for the French Navy, and later made famous by the likes of James Dean, Pablo Picasso, and JFK. What makes the Aviator Breton better than the rest? Ours is made with 100% Merino Wool from New Zealand. This means you can wear it for several days before it needs to be washed. Merino wool is antimicrobial by nature, and refuses to hold an odor. Thoughtfully designed with style and comfort, so you can wear more and pack less.

This XS shirt fits great for a small build. I usually wear a 2 to 4 petite. Gave it 4 stars because It is thinner material than I thought it would be, so will be good for early fall or late spring.

My outfit of choice this week has been the Merino long sleeve with the Merino navy sweater and either the navy kyoto pants or assorted jeans. Total comfort, sleek looking, Good for all weather and most occasions. Complete comfort in NYC. Or on a plane.

The merino wool long sleeve Breton Stripe T is a great addition to the Aviator women's merino wool top collection. The weight is perfect for both layering and wearing alone. The neckline is just right, neither too high nor too low. The shirt has a lovely silhouette, not too clingy or baggy. The shirt washed well on a delicate/cold cycle and air dried quickly without distorting the shape or texture. Hopefully Aviator will expand the long sleeve collection to include solid colors. Sizing is consistent with the Aviator short sleeve tops. Size Small was a perfect fit for my 5'3", 116 pound, 34D frame.
