How to Holiday Across the Pond...

    Your name:

    Amy Kozelek

    Where did you last travel?

    England and France

    Highlights and/or must see locations:

London: The changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, and Luxembourg Garden

France: Paris and the George Pompidou Museum of Modern Art

Tips and tricks for fellow travelers:

You can walk almost everywhere in Paris and London. Bring comfortable shoes and layer clothing, especially in London because the weather can change quickly. Remember an umbrella!

    Food/drink recommendations:

Try different wines in France and make sure to support your local bakery. Croissants are amazing in France and England. Many of the English pubs serve delicious, affordable meals in a comfortable and friendly dining environment.

The Ship & Shovell pub in Charing Cross is split by an alleyway called Craven Passage. But the two buildings are joined underground by a shared cellar.

Which Aviator products did you wear and were they helpful?

The Women's Bootcut Jeans have deep front pockets where you can quickly stash your passport and cell phone while waiting for the plane or the train.

Anything else you’d like to share?

London taxi drivers need to memorize approximately 25,000 London streets and landmarks for the exam, and many of them will act as unofficial tour guides while driving you. Talk with them during your journey and you will learn a lot.
