These high rise vintage-inspired straight fit jeans are made from the finest American denim from Cone Mills in Greensboro, NC. They've been thoughtfully designed for travel and everyday wear with timeless style, elegant function and superior durability. Made from 100% cotton with minimal stretch.
Dead stock refers to brand new, unused jeans. These are styles from previous productions that we have archived at AviatorHQ. Dead stock jeans offer a unique opportunity to own a piece of Aviator history.
Our recommendation: Order your normal size. They should feel a little tight until they break-in.

If this is your first time ordering with us, we’d recommend having your jeans hemmed locally to ensure that they're the perfect length for you. If you email us a copy of your receipt from the tailor shop, we'd be happy to reimburse you up to $10 for the alteration.

The front pockets are deeper than on other jeans I own but, even still, they didn't fit my phone in the front pocket far enough for me to sit down. (I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+.) And as for the back pockets, my phone stuck out just as much as they do on my regular jeans. So, I found all of this kind of disappointing.
The material seemed nice, and I'm glad I chose the jeans with the back zipper pockets because those will still be pretty useful on trips and just in general.
I bought a pair from Radian at the same time. Their pockets might be a little deeper all round, but the material didn't seem as nice as on the aviator ones, so, pluses and minuses, I suppose.
In case it helps to know, I'm 5'1, 119 pounds, waist is 30 inches, and I ordered size 26 in the "best travel jeans" > "relaxed straight" in midnight with a custom hem. The 26 was too small. The recommended size was 27 but that size was sold out, so I went with 26. They will still come in handy on an upcoming trip to Europe so I wouldn't consider these a total loss.
Also got them custom hemmed. Seems good to me, though I probably should have requested an inch shorter which would have then fit me better but I was worried about making them too short.

I really like these jeans. They are so soft and the fit is slim without being at all tight. I typically wear a 26 which runs a bit loose on me as I don't like tight things but I need a 25 in Aviator and they are still not tight. Service is always 100%.

I’ve ordered several different colors/washes of Aviator Jeans. Obviously I’m a keen supporter & enthusiastic customer. My current travel is next week (from date of review). I was completely confident they’d come in time & actually for another trip I also waited til quite close to departure. Which brings me to customer service: the best & im not exaggerating. For example, this time I chatted before I bought. I was concerned about the length but I like to make a cuff so asked if the material would stay cuffed, still looking good. She advised so, I was still a bit worried &she was precisely correct. This & and a black pair of Aviators comprise my lower 1/2 wardrobe for a 3-weeks trip. And then, the wonderful pockets. I’m in love with them. ( y passport, phone, etc. fit.
